This week was the best week so far. Our friend Keoni who I talked about last week and his wife did end up making it to the visitors center on Friday. It was an amazing experience, the sisters serving there took our group on our own tour and we watched a short walk through video about the importance of families and how we can live together forever. The spirit felt there was unreal. At the end of it we had a short lesson and there were lots of tears. We then invited him to be baptized when he was ready and he said YES! I can't even explain how good it felt. We had dinner and the first official lesson with him, his wife and another family in the ward last night and set his baptism goal for December 6th. He felt that was achievable and we left him with the challenge to pray for himself to know that the things we taught him were true.
The members here are amazing as well, they are so welcoming to him and are able to become friends and include him so quickly. I don't know where we would be without them.
Other than that Hawaii is treating my companion and I very well. We had the opportunity to do service on the U.S.S. Missouri on Wednesday, that was so cool! They give the missionaries a free personal tour of it and Pearl Harbor for helping them.
Please feel free to pray for Keoni as he strives to make these great changes in his life. Thank you for your love, support and prayers.
